Don Hume JIT holster

HI,

I've read good things about the Don Hume JIT holster. I need one for a SA GI Micro Compact.

Ordering one is a little confusing. Hume makes JITs for a lot of different compact pistols and revolvers. It can't be a "one size fits all" type of holster, can it?

When you go to the Hume website you can look up the holster and then, during the ordering process, you are asked to select a "Chart Number."

The "Chart Number" for the micro compact Springfield is "10-P10"/ the Chart Number for the Glock 36 is "36-1". Are these pistols configured differently?

There are a lot of them on Ebay but the Ebay sellers do not provide the chart numbers and I don't want to get the wrong one.

What's they story on JITS?

Your question is a bit confusing, first you wonder that it might be a one size fits all, then you ask why they have a different number for the Springfield and the Glock.

The holsters are molded to a particular gun, and the Glock and Springfield are two very different guns, so they will have different holster sizes. Since the holster is a slide type, it can take different barrel lengths, so a 1911 holster can fit from an Officer's ACP to a Longslide. The JIT slide is one of their most popular, so they make it for a wide variety of guns.

The ebay-ers usually list what the holster is for rather than the product number since that is what people care about. Hopefully the seller lists the right product, though when they do also give a size or you can read it off the photo, I usually double check to make sure it is the right one. You can also ask the seller for the product number, most will gladly tell you (and if they do not reply, you probably do not want to do business with them anyway).

I just got my Don Hume IWB clip on holster from gunners alley a week ago. I'm happy with it so far, but I've just worn it in the woods and around the house a couple times.

I have JIT for my ,well 4 of the pistols that i have .I use nothing else.

I got this off of gunnersalley site. As was stated above most go by gun type and not number.But looks like you have the right number.
