Favorite front sight for 1911?

I have been tinkering with sights on several 1911 pistols. I have generally favored a plain black notch rear sight but am undecided about what front sight to use. I have had good success with plain black post front sights but have also used fiber optic inserts, brass beads, post with a white dot in it, and different colors of paint on a post. What front sight do you folks prefer on your pistols? Thanks for any suggestions.

.10" wide Dawson fiber optic.
I thought I'd ordered a ramp version, but I've come to like the undercut "target" style for the lack of reflections.
After shooting some low-light competition, I've also decided FO is a good option on self-defense guns, as when it's dark enough that the fiber is not distinctly glowing, it's too dark to be shooting without a light, anyway.

Best all around front site for me is a gold dot, plus it looks classy on a nice 1911. For strictly daytime range use it's hard to beat a fiber optic one (I like the green). Tritium with hi-viz circle outline is a very close second for an all purpose front site, I like the fluorescent orange or white outline ones & have 'em on a couple of 1911's. Anything other than a black blade helps me a lot.
