I've used Kydex for IDPA for years, but switched to an Omega-style holster. Fast, secure (if adjusted correctly) and far classier than any plastic.

I don't think an Omega style would be my first choice for concealment, but they're fast, VERY sturdy range holsters.

Nice holster

at your convenience.... could I get a image of this holster from the back side of the belt loop as if this holster was on your body so I can how the belt loop is shaped.

I am looking for the perfect range holster and needing a holster where the belt loop pushes the gun away from your body.

I apologize that I can't respond with a photo, but we're in the midst of packing for a move, and most of my gear is....somewhere.

The best description I can give is that the leather is folded over, placed around a very thick belt blank, and molded to fit that. It doesn't push the grip away from the body the way I made it, but could be adjusted to do so if that's what you were after. I was after an IDPA-legal holster, which doesn't allow the grip to be too far from the body.
