Hi Standard Sentinel R101 22LR

I picked up a Hi Standard Sentinel R101 revolver with 6-inch barrel and chambered in 22LR. It's the early model without a spring-loaded ejector rod. I think the Hi Standard will make a great companion to my 6-inch barreled S&W M28. In the last pic, the Sentinel is located beneath the M28. I can't wait to shoot the Sentinel.

I bought mine with a 4" bbl. many, many moons ago. Bought it at Montgomery-Wards, if memory serves. I sold/traded it away many years/decades ago.

A little online browsing and I was able to narrow down the year of manufacture to most likely 1956.

I have one inherited from my Dad. It is from mid to late 60's as near as I can tell. Good shooter, but always 2" high and 2" left at 15 yards. Don't shoot it much but it is not going anywhere anytime soon.
