Hey guys, based on suggestions from the forum, I decided to get a CZ 75 compact. I really like the gun. Had the SRT (short reset trigger) mod from Cajun Gun Works installed by my local guy, and smoothed the trigger. Shoots smooth, clean break and got the DA pull down from 12 lbs. to about 7. SA is probably around 5 to 5.5, but breaks as clean as some of my 1911's.

Anyway, would like to carry it for CCW, but having a tough time finding a holster I like for it. Seems there are a ton of IWB, but I really don't like IWB, nor kydex. Want a standard, old fashioned, leather OWB, preferably without the a retention strap, as I don't do anything strenuous enough to dislodge it as a regular activity. Want a good quality holster, but also need to keep It reasonably priced as I'm on a fixed budget, so no custom alligator or that kind of thing. Just good quality, well fitting, plain cowhide.

So, anyone on here who has this model, carries EDC, or have suggestions for a good holster, please feel free to offer any and all advice. Gentleman on another forum suggested the Don Hume cross draw, which sounded appealing, but when I checked it out, it rides rather high, and seems like it would not stay close to the body if in a car, etc. So, any and all suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in advance to everyone for the input/ideas.

Did you get a PCR? The PCR will fit differently as it is a bit wider due to the aluminum frame. If it is a PCR I have read that holsters for the P01 will generally fit as well. There are some good compilations of holsters that fit the specific compact models here: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?board=18.0

I am in the same boat as you. I have been searching and searching for a holster for my PCR. Garrett Industries is at the top of the list thus far. Hopefully we start seeing more options as these pistols have taken off in popularity, as they should.

Thanks guys,
I ran through some of my old holsters in the closet, and found that the DeSantis IWB that fits my Glock 26, and G19, also fits the CZ 75 B compact I bought. I also read on another sight that holsters that fit either the Kahr CW9, or P01 will work. I found a bianchi OWB in leather for a good price on Amazon, so ordered it. If it works, great. If not, well, I have a nice OWB for my G19 and G26. Will let everyone know if it works. Appreciate all the advice.

Update on holsters. I've found that pretty much any holster built for the Glock 19 will work for the CZ 75 compact. I ordered a Bianchi #57, supposedly for the G19. It is a bit tight for the Glock, but would probably be great if I put the gun in the holster and leave it for a couple of days to stretch. However, it fits the CZ perfectly. Good fit, not tight, but good retention, holding upside down and shaking does not dislodge the gun, but easily drawn from an OWB position at 2:30ish position. So anyone looking for a good OWB leather holster, w/ 15 degree FBI cant, this is the one. Thanks again for all the advice.

I would like to get a horizontal should holster for the CZ 75 Compact PCR. Anyone have a recommendation? I do NOT like High Noon shoulder holsters, so please don't recommend them. Please only recommend holsters makers that you have specific knowledge that with have them or can make them for the PCR. I am not looking for a generic list of holster makers. That information is readily available on the net as you know.......
I know High Noon has a following, but they are not for me.......
Thanks
