Replacement of RIA/Armscor GI Front Sight

Is it possible to get a novak cut fiber optic front sight while retaining the GI rear sight? Or should I just replace both front and rear with novak cut sights?

I got this A2 GI from Armscor and added a beavertail and ambi safety and replaced the grips. I want to improve the sights next.

If you are paying to have the front sight cut and replaced, just go ahead and get the rear sight done. The options for GI dovetail rears are not great.

This gun started as a RIA GI, but now it’s a backup bullseye gun. The only remaining original parts are the slide, frame, and barrel.
