Does anyone else out there do custom work on the SP101 357 mag besides Gemini Customs?

Just had my sp101 trigger bobbed, polished the trigger so there's no sharp edges, they shortened the trigger pull and put a night sight(front) on. TJs gunsmithing in Aurora Colorado. Tim has done a ton of work for me and I always walked away satisfied. This is not a phroo phroo pistol, it works well for what it's intended, a tough go to gun.

Before I discovered Gemini Custom I had Cylinder & Slide work on one of my SP101s. C&S did very good work. That said, Gemini Custom has worked on my other SP101s doing the same work as C&S for half the price and with a two to three week turnaround instead of a six month wait and then an eight week turnaround after the gun was mailed in. The quality of work performed by Gemini Custom's was as good if not better than C&S.

Any other recommendations of revolver 'Smiths ?

All I really want is the best trigger I can get(reliability being prime) and the hammer bobbed(something stylish,of course:biglaugh:)

I'm in Georgia;so,a good revolver-oriented Gunsmith in-state would suit me just fine.

Since the subject is SP101s;what are some good grip-options on this gun? I like the stock one ok;but, rubber and plastic grips are not my favorite.

One of the nice things about the factory grips is they are solid, with just the square thingie down the center.
This means if the gun points a bit high, you carefully sand (grind?) the lower rear till it points naturally. A round butt look.:)
Did it to mine, points like a dream. Looks OK too.
Even got a bit into the lower rear of the side panels.

edit: I have one with a hammer spur, one without, both factory. The spurless has the sanded butt.
