Just see a Springfield Linkless 1911 in 10MM in the gun show. Are they hard to found and are they any good compare to the Springfield Omega 10MM? Anyone know what is the value for one in 90 plus condition?

The linkless pistols used the barrel lower lugs of the Omega, but with standard upper locking lugs, ejection port, etc.
You don't get the dual extractors, caliber conversion capability, and other Omega features.
I saw a Linkless 10mm in a gun store, 20 years ago(?), and have never seen another.

Thanks for learnin' me something today, gang. Darned if I didn't see an Omega at the Ohio Gun Collectors' Association show this past weekend. They turn up occasionally. But this other model, never laid eyes on and don't recall it.

First time this box has seen the light of day in probably 18 to 20 years

Even the box is just the Springfield 1911- A1

And so is the manual, with the addition of the link list part. Shoot me a reply or an email and I will put whatever you want on the scanner for a higher quality coffee

Thank you very much for sending this. I'm really surprised that Springfield has nothing in here on reassembly, in particular the semi-circular bushing that slides onto the recoil spring guide. I had assumed that the manual would have answer this question so I didn't spend a lot of time on this before, but now I'll go back and take a closer look at this to figure it out.
