Staccato C magazines. OEM+, Wilson-, Tripp?, other?

I bought three Wilson Combat ETM 9 magazines. Fortunately, I didn't unpackage one of the 10 round mags so I can at least return that, but the 9 round flush fit mag and the extended 10 round mag with the over insertion stop baseplate both had 1st round nose dives into the front of the mag bodies when I tested them. My three factory magazines have been 100% reliable. I am trying to decide if I want to try Tripp Research 10 round mags to carry as my reloads or just wait until Staccato gets more of the standard 8 round mags in stock. (Tested with Federal 115 range ball and Hornady 124 HPs.)

Any Staccato C owners care to share their magazine experience and opinions?

This is a common enough issue that Wilson includes instructions with their magazines...

Like other mechanical devices, your Wilson Combat® magazine may be a little stiff when first used. This is normal and should not effect its feeding capabilities, however you will notice that as you use your magazine it will become easier to load and seat in your pistol and it will function even more smoothly over time. If you wish to expedite the break in process simply leave your new magazine loaded to capacity for a day or two, this will pre-set the spring to normal operating tension.
Load them up and let them sit, fully loaded for several days. It may not fix your problem, but it usually does.

Tripp Cobra mags or Metalform (have several from when Dawson stocked them) are the only single stack 9mm magazines I use. Bias towards Tripp for how well thought out the magazines are vs. any others. Wilson’s 9mm ETM mags haven’t run as smoothly as the aforementioned in my gun(s).

To add to the confusion, (at least my confusion), I ordered two 10 round Staccato P magazines from Staccato and they came today and they are a completely different design. The 8 round original mags have no rear rail inside but an internal creased rib down the center of the front which limits how far forward the cartridges can move. The new 10 round mags do have a rear rail which holds the ammo farther forward similar in concept to the Wilson mags. They also appear to be made by Metalform based on the logo on the side. I guess I might as well buy a pair of Tripp mags just to complete the set.
