I have acquired an STI Trojan in 9mm through a trade recently. I have already purchased a set of takeoff Dan Wesson Specialist grips that are cut for a mag well. Now I'm in search for a mag well with the same chain link pattern on the mainspring housing that is on the front strap. I have found three possible candidates, Ed Brown Maxi-Well($77), Fusion Firearms($52), and Nighthawk($80). Mostly everyone has great things to say about the Ed Brown, but on Brownell's website, the negative reviews all relate to fitment issues on the STI Trojan. If it weren't for those negative reviews, I would go with the Ed Brown. The Nighthawk has great reviews but I also came across the Fusion mag well. The Fusion one looks good to go and comes in considerably less than the other two. Does anyone have any experience with any of these mag wells on STI Trojan pistols specifically?
