I just saw these 2 sights released for sale to consumers this morning listed as new products, it seems tisas gods have finally answered our demands!!! As we all know changing the sights has issues with overhang on the rear and having to fit the aftermarket sights because tisas novak cut isnt exactly NOVAK, well now we can order there sights directly off the website!!!! I just ordered the green fiber optic version for my DEVIL RAY commander .45.... hope this finally solves getting rid of the 3 white dot boring sights 👍

Now that we can buy replacement sights for 1911 models, we need a fiber optic sight package for the new 2011s from tisas, closest we can get to a prodigy or sticcato in looks....

Can you post some more pictures of this pistol with the fiber optic set on it, I have a devil ray .45 those sights are going on once delivered and wanted to get a idea on looks 😎, I have seen them on the bantam and yukon but not a regular regular carry model
I have the B45 Duty (posted in this thread) with the front F/O and the black out rear U notch.
Same fiber optic sight setup is used on the bantam and yukon and those are commander length, also used on the gov size model duty enhanced 1911 tisas sells, the tritium sight set appears to be what comes on the night stalker series, they dont sell just the front fiber optic so not sure why you would want to run the white dot rear with a fiber front, the best sight picture possible is a blacked out rear with a tritium or fiber front sight
Tisas rep posted.....""" The fronts will be available shortly as a stand alone product soon."""" Well, if the new F/O front sight is an OEM height match with the rear 2 dots ...guess what...a black paint pen will do the trick on them to black them out achieving virtually same thing as the U notch rear.

Not exactly, novak rear white dots wont have the ledge to rack the slide like the new rear sight does which for one handed munipulation of the weapon might be a big deal to some 🤣

I’m a front sight focus guy unless bullseye shooting.

My hopes are the front aligns with the stock rear and if the white dots bother me I have paint.
Your experience mirrors many others I’ve read in various forums.

If the front is reasonably doable with a brass punch that will be the 1st option.
If the new sight doesn’t align with POI with factory rear, I would attack it with a dremmel.

If a pro says the front isn’t for a novice, I will have both front and rear installed at the same time.

Maybe.... But months ago I bought a $40 off Amazon and it just bent itself, the sight didn't move. So spend more than this, or it's a waste: Liyurui Sight Pusher Tool with Construction & Reversible Tools & Engineering Tools Assembly https://a.co/d/eSdfbWK

I ended up using my own shop vise, drilling and tapping a high grade fine thread bolt through a steel bar, and lining them all up by hand to push the rear sight out.

I have a picture somewhere

Rats, turns out i did not take a pic, nor do i recall exactly which direction it drifted. I remember that its what everyone expected, so what would you expect on a standard 1911?

I did moan abotu it in a post here, and i did say at teh time that it had some sort of locktite like gunk in there. took a lot of pressure from taht screw then audible PING and it moved freely.

Just take your time and don't loose your cool. It will come out eventually. The front is easier than the rear. Like said they use some sort of magic glue as well. After you hear the "Tink" when it breaks the seal it come out pretty easily. I bent my brass drift.
On the rear I ended up having to cut the sight in almost half with a dremel cutting wheel to weaken it so the upper shoulders were not wedged in so tight against the frame. That helped. Just hold onto the dremel very tightly if you choice this method so it doesn't get away from you and damage your slide.
